Gaff – for safe landing of your catch
A gaff is a practical tool used for both net fishing and hook/longline fishing. The tool is available in three lengths: 47 cm, 75 cm and 100 cm.
When the fishing net or hook line reaches the surface, there is always a risk that the fish may escape from the hook or net before being brought on board. The gaff helps secure the catch. The hook is placed into the fish, allowing it to be quickly and safely lifted on board.
A simple and effective tool for handling and landing fish when net fishing or longline fishing.
